ACCOUNT MANAGER (Part Time)

Do you have an interest in learning and working in financial management for non-profit organizations? 


This position is ideal for someone who is:

     • Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous

     • Flexible -- enjoys doing work in multi-task environment

     • Independent -- enjoys working with little direction

Job Responsibilities:

Records and maintains financial transactions in Quick Books software. ·

     • Prepares and processes accounts payable and payroll

     • Records monthly expendables.

     • Record deposits for cash receipts.

     • Reconcile bank accounts transactions

     • Complete special projects as assigned.

Other Requirements:

     • 2-3 years of experience in same or related position

     • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) Quick Books is required

     • Possess an AA or BS Degree in Accounting

     • Must pass a background check

     • Must pass QuickBooks Online training courses

Compensation & Benefits

ACCOUNTING INTERN (Part Time)

Do you have an interest in learning and working in financial management for non-profit organizations? 


We are looking for a driven part time Accounting Intern with a basic understanding of GAAP and financial principles and terms who is ready for an immersive, real-world experience. Under the supervision of our CFO, the Accounting Intern can expect to participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyze actual financial data, learn more about bookkeeping software, and assist with other accounting activities. You should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking. To be a strong candidate for an Accounting Internship, you should possess an understanding of accounting and financial principles and a positive attitude. You should be collaborative, trustworthy, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn.


Job Responsibilities:

• Shadowing members of the Accounting department as they perform their duties.

• Assisting with research, filing, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.

• Working with Quick Books bookkeeping software.

• Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.

• Work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data and support the company clients.

• Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.


Other Requirements:

• Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.

• Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.

• Aptitude for math, proficiency with computers.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.

• Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn

• Must pass a background check

• Must pass QuickBooks Online training courses


Compensation & Benefits Offered:

• $15 to $20 per hour (20-30 hours per week)

• Health Insurance, Retirement Plan and Paid time off
